Crazy Night!

I had a super fun night! I saw Family Force 5 a little while ago in concert! They were really cool; they had these sweet purple outfits... I don't think any other guy bands can wear purple and look cool besides Family Force 5! They totally jammed though, they were all over the stage! I went up front with my friends and we went crazy. It was a blast. Afterwards, I got to get a poster signed by them!

And.... Spring Break! A whole week off of school! I'm sooooooooo tired, I think I'm going to do some serious sleeping. ;)

Around the Bend...

Well, it's been a while since I last posted. Life has been really busy lately and I've had lots of new stuff to consider. As the post title indicates, my life is whirling around me, and I am anxiously awaiting what comes next.
I recently applied for a job position to a nearby office where I'll be making calls and conducting surveys. Well, I got the job and I just started last week. I was really excited at first. You know, I'd finally have some extra money, I'd be working, all that fun stuff, but it also has been really hard to adjust. I have had a really hard time going the past week. I wanted to stay home, and the work was pretty monotonous, but you know, I know I am going to adjust, and Mom and Dad keep telling me to wait until I finally get my first paycheck. I'm going to stick this one out, it's just going to take some adjusting. And, you know, when summer rolls around and I still am having a hard time, maybe I'll start looking again. Maybe I can be a lifeguard down at the pool. :)

I've watched lots of movies lately. :) Since we've been really busy as a family, we've tried to make it priority to make Friday nights movie night. We have a movie filter, which takes out language and all the stuff we don't want the younger girls to see, so we have Chasity watch a movie on her computer and Chanelle, Lauren and I watch the movie. We just finished watching the Bourne movies, so we're going to start on a new set of movies tonight.
I also had a really good idea for a book. What if an orginazation set out to take over the world, so they made a bomb ten times more powerful than an atom bomb, only instead of reaping destruction, it alters the brainwaves of the mind so whoever is affected no longer has free will or the ability to have an idea. But what if the bomb didn't affect you if you were like a very free thinker? So then there would be like this rebellion against the dictators who end up ruling the earth... an underground rebellion. :)
Well, that's all for now. The dishes are laying in the sinking crying "Wash me, wash me!" I'd better get going.

Lazy Day

Hey all!
Lovin' vacation. Scythia's sitting with me watching me post and checking out the songs on my playlist. Today was pretty mellow and immensely lazy. I accomplished almost nothing today, but hey, it's vacation.

Sorry it's so short!

Normal???

Saturday, December 19, 2009
Alright, first official post... this one is about my emotions, and I'll be completely honest, it's a little difficult to bare my soul completely... I'm going to write like I would in a journal, just say what I'm feeling.

So, sometimes I feel like I'm completely abnormal, like I'm super immature and can't seem to hold a conversation with a normal person. I know it's probably not true, but I do feel like that sometimes. I tend to joke around too much, you know? Make a joke out of every little thing and it's become a habit and I think sometimes it annoys people.

I'm a little down today... Sorry if this post seems like a gloomfest.

But hey, on the bright side, winter vacation finally started!!! Whoo hooo!!! Three weeks of absolute freedom! *Does a little happy dance* I want to finish decorating my room... painting my wall... and I want to learn some new dance moves. I'm going to also have a little... okay a lot... of movies, wii time, and chillaxing. Yeah, it's gonna be good. :) Can you tell I enjoy my vacation.

So now I've proved it, writing cheers me up. Thanks for coping with me!

Oh yeah, yesterday, I was at this banquet for my church, and the dance floor was opening and they were playing a slow, romantic dance song. So this guy (one of my friends) after a couple minutes of music, asked me to dance!

Now, don't get me wrong, this guy is super nice, good friend, fun to hang out with, but I've never had a crush on him or anything. But anyway, he asked me to dance, and it was fun. He was really sweet about it. Although, because of Daddy's standards (Love ya dad! :) I didn't dance super close to him, I danced in open position. :)

My teen years so far have turned out way different than I thought they would when I was six, and I find myself at the age I always aspired to be when I was little: I can watch all the good movies, have a later bedtime, and lots more freedom from Mom and Dad (eg I can paint my wall by myself) and I've also got my permit. But somehow, it doesn't seem as important now as it did then. Life is full of oddities, and I guess it just takes time to discover them.

A little about me

To all friends, fam, and passers-by,
Welcome to my blog! As the pages of my life are turned, I'd like to share with you some of my story as the words are formed. I will post about my roller-coaster emotions, my excursions in writing, my moments when life seems to be at the peak of emotion, and the moments when I can barely stand. I will tell of moments when my relationship with Jesus has never been better, and when I feel I've fallen farther than ever. I hope this blog provides you with a little insight into my life, as well as some smiles and thoughts for yours. Whether you've know me forever, or not at all, you're welcome to read some of the pages of my life.
